  1. A New Work Ethic is an essay by a person named Bonnie that was entered on November 29, 2005. In the article, Bonnie gets a job at a local diner and feels like she gets no respect even though she attend school and works as hard as she can. She also realizes that even though she is smarter than most of the other employees, she has to give respect to them because of their background, for example one employee has two kids to watch over so then she realizes that everyone should get respect no matter who you are. This was probably targeted toward people who don't get respect or are neglected, and this article is to tell them the opinion of the author of how people should have respect. I liked the article. It's something I can agree with, and it just hurts me every time when someone is being picked on because it seem to me that people should get equal respect as the other people who do get respect. It just doesn't seem right

The article "A New Work Ethic" was written by a girl named Bonnie on November 29, 2005. The purpose of this essay was to teach anyone under 18 years of age, to respect the people you work with. Bonnie learned to respect her co-workers and she wants you to do the same. Bonnie also learned how to work hard, just from watching the other employees. I think that Bonnie has some good advice, and i will try to put it into use.

"A New Work Ethic," is a essay published on Thisibelieve.com by Bonnie Wichita from Kansas. It was submitted on November 29th, 2005. This article was about Respect. The writer is reaching out to children under the age of 18 to tell them how important respect is. She speaks of how when she worked in a restaunt she judged her co-workers because none of them were probperly educated, but as she worked more she noticed how dedicated and efficiente they were no matter how hard their lives were. Respect is key in life so it is important to treat everyone equally and fair.

This week's Article of The Week is by a seventeen year old women, named Bonnie. She lives in Wichita, Kansas, and is writing this article as an experience she had, working at a diner. It was found on an internet website called thisibelieve.org. Bonnie wrote this article as an example of respecting everyone, no matter how their life situation is. She wrote this to show people, of all ages, not to judge anybody, based on what they seem on the outside. As Bonnie realizes in her experience working at the diner, when people lack something in their life, they compensate in other ways. For an example, one of Bonnie's co-workers did not graduate high school, and was a single mom for two young children. Although she had a rough home-life, she never showed it at work, and made the best of a bad situation. As i read this article, my first thought was, "Wow, maybe i shouldn't judge people for what they seem on the outside." By reading what Bonnie had to say, i now know that you should treat people with the magic word, respect.

"A New Work Ethic," from the This I Believe website was written by Bonnie on November 29, 2005. The purpose was to show that all people deserve respect no matter who they are. It was intended for people under 18. The writer judged their former workers because of their education and age. She soon finds out that these people have all been through something rough and work extremely hard to keep their job and get money. I personally think that you have to earn respect, not jus get it.

In the essay "A New Work Ethic" posted on November 29th, 2005. Bonnie of Wichita,Kansas, reached out to teens under 18 and in high school to try not to be so quick to judge people who might seem "lower" than you ,so to speak, but find what makes them great, wise, and sometimes even funny. As obvious as a snake biting your leg, the theme of this essay ,no matter what your point of view, is Respect. In my opinion this essay is very moving and not to mention strongly written. All in all this essay is very good. Now I am gonna go to bed. See ya'll tommorrow! =)

In the article “A New Work Ethic” submitted on November 29, 2010 to the website This I Believe, Inc., the author Bonnie from Wichita, Kansas, wants the reader to get to know people before you judge them. This article is written for everyone. Her main point is to never judge people. The author thought that the people she was going to work with were not very smart because they didn’t finish high school or go to college. She thought that she would be able to teach them things. After the author got to know those people, she realized she was wrong. They actually taught her stuff. I like this article because it is important to not judge people, get to know them, instead.

The intended audience of this article was teenager 18 and under. The purpose of this article is to talk about respecting and not judging other people. 12. Many of my teenage friends with jobs worked with many people of the same age. I expected a work environment along the same lines. However, my first work shift turned out to be quite surprising. No one I worked with was within five years of my own age. None had gone to college, and many had not completed high school. Being a staunch academic, I quickly dismissed these people as “lazy,” “incompetent” and generally beneath myself. I began thinking that as soon as I had the ways of the cash register down, I would be able to teach these people a few things in terms of efficiency and work ethic.

The article, A New Work Ethic, was written by Bonnie on November 29, 2005. The website that this article can be found on is thisibelieve.org. This article is meant to be read by anyone under the age of 18. The purpose of this article is to teach people under the age of eighteen to respect the people that they work with. The main idea of this story is that you should not judge people until you get to know more about them for who they really are, unlike Bonnie who judged people before she got to know them. Bonnie assumed that since the people she worked with did not complete high school, then they must be lazy.I thought this was a good article and that Bonnie learned a good lesson.

In the passage "A New Work Ethic" by Bonnie. Taken from "this i believe" on November 29, 2005. The morale of the passage is to keep up a work ethic and to do not judge a person based off what they do. This article reaches out to the teens and workers who think everything is easy. But this teenage girl what thought will be a easy part time job became a life changer for her. She tells about in the begining that she was a little lazy just like some of the other workers but met a woman with two children who works really hard to support them.

  20. On Saturday, October 2nd, 2010, the burned body of a fifteen year old local girl from Santa Maria was found near Santa Margarita. Five people were arrested for being involved with the murder. The article was written by AnnMarie Cornejo and published in the Tribune. The article was attended for the people of Santa Maria and neighbor cities. I think the newspaper shouldn’t have put those things about her myspace profile; it was incredibly ignorant and insensitive to her and her family. Strangers shouldn’t know her business. Its hers and no one else’s. I blame the meth-heads that did it and her life style and her poor decisions (mostly the tweekers).
