"Studies Shows College Students Overwhelmed, Unprepared" is an article/survey by Scott Aronowitz. It is talking about how college students are not prepared with the info they need for college. This article (in my opinion) was aimed toward high school staff. Why? Well, high school us trying to prepare you for college, and if people aren't prepared, aren't the high schools to blame? High school is giving you all the info you need for college so it just seems to me.

The article “Survey Shows College Students Overwhelmed, Underprepared” by Scott Aronwitz posted on 2/16/11 on Campus Technology website, is about a survey taken by college students and instructors. This is written for people who are interested in the future of higher education. Students are going into college with fewer important skills and too many outside demands on their time. This makes it hard to do the best they can with their higher education. The instructors and the students are interested in technology helping with higher education. I agree that it seems like everyone is worrying about money. I think the skills needed might have changed because we use things like the internet more now. I do think that technology would help if it was used more in high school.

The article "Survey Shows College Students Overwhelmed; Underprepared" by Scott Aronwitz on 2/16/11 is a survey of college students and instructors about how they feel about using more technology in class. The results are that students do like having technology in class more. the instructors also say that the level of participation are higher when technology is involved. I think that we are in a new age and why not utilize technology if it helps students in graduating college while juggling jobs and raising families at the same time

Title: Survey Shows College Students Overwhelmed, Underprepared

Main Idea: Showing how students are trying to enter college with minimum or below minimum essentials.

Overall: I would think this article could impact many teachers on what they do, to teach their students the subject. They need everything teachers have, And apperantly that isnt enough because they are entering college with very low skills.

    Intended Audience: Students & Teachers

"Survey Show College Overwhelmed, Underprepared," is an article all about how college students and instructors took a survey about having technology. This article was on a site called campostechnology.com on 2/16/11 by Scott Aronowitz. In the article, Scott mentioned that students arn't as focused probably because of part-time or full-time jobs. It was made for students and colleges to understand that we are living in a new technological time, and it makes it easier for students to learn more information while juggling with jobs and families. This article helps me kind of grasp the thought that I'm going to have the same problem as the students who took the survey, and I just hope that I'm ready.

  14. "Survey shows College students overwelmed, unprepared" is an article that was written by Scott Aronowitz explaining how teenagers who have completed High School are now trying to enter college with a part time job. It is becoming a problem because 86% of college students are using their technology at home. I personally dont agree with this idea of using the computer for college I think it would be way easier to go into class so that way you can be more of a visual learner and ask more questions and get the individual attention that could really help you. This is intended for people who are either taking or going to be taking college classes. It was poster on February 16, 2011.

This week's Article of the Week is titled, "Survey Shows College Students Overwhelmed, Underprepared," by Scott Aronwitz. The article is about the fact that college students are too overwhelmed with tuition, rent, family matters, and other college expenses to worry about their actually college classes and seminars. Surveys have showed, college students have been unprepared with their classes and too prepared with their personal problems. Some students have proven that having cell phones, calculators, laptops, iPads and other gadgets are easier for students to work with then when students dont have anything. The intended audience is College Students, Teachers, and Parents. My thoughts on this article is that students need to prepare themselves more on the academic part of college then worry soo much on their costs and family issues.

  21. "Survey Shows College Students Overwhelmed, Underprepared" is an article written by Scott Aronowitz. It was published Febuary 16, 2011 for students and teachers. This article was about how students go into college unprepared. With all the new technology out today, it causes students to rely on their laptops more than their skills that are much needed in the classroom. Another problem was that most of the students were more focoused on their jobs then their schoolwork. I think that kids shouldnt rely on technology, but instead use other resourses that our available to them.
