The title of this articel is "A secret,boxed-up bazaar of fantastical things." and was published on May 15, 2011 by Jon Kalish. The purpose was to tell people about this "adult carnival". The intended audience was to who ever was really interested on hearing about this "adult carnival". The Main idea was to explain what was going in the streets of oakland and san fransisco, when all the older people were no where to be seen. The Lost Horizon Night Market is a scene for older people and having people run little buisnesses out of moving trucks for one night. I thought it was a little creepy at first but then i thought that it would be really cool to check out sometime.

The NPR prod cast “A Secret, Boxed-Up Bazaar of Fantastical Things” by Jon Kalish, broadcasted on May 15,2011, is about a night market in Oakland, CA. This type of market originated in Brooklyn N.Y. in 2009. The purpose of the broadcast is to inform and to entertain people. This is intended for adults and for people who are interested in doing interesting things like this. The main idea is to inform people about the interesting thing going on. The people who do the night market do it from a box truck. A bunch of trucks line up in a neighborhood and each one has something different to do or see, like eat or see art. My reaction is that I think that it is very interesting, and it sounds like a lot of fun.

"A secret, Boxed-Up Bazaar of Fantastical Things," by Jon Kalish was posted on NPR.org on May 15, 2011. Jon wrote a informative article about a night market in San Fransisco, CA, and Oakland, CA. This type of market came from Brooklyn, N.Y. in 2009, and is now being used in California. Basically, the night market is a place for young adults to have fun in their own neighborhood late at night. It is sort of like a mini-carnival because, little, box trucks line up for the nieghborhod, so the people could do and eat different things from each of them. This article was all about what new things are happening in California. I think that this article is a bit confusing, but other than that, I think it was very intersting to read about.

This article of the week is titled "A Secret, Boxed-Up Bazaar of Fantastical Things" by Jon Kalish on npr.com, posted on May 15, 2011. This is a VERY interesting article and i love it! I think the idea of having U-Haul's full of different things such as a diner and just places to play or camp out is so creative and fun. If i were an adult i definitely would wanna go to this even at least one time in my life. Too bad i'm not quite there yet. But when i'm older and if they do bring it to Los Angeles i'll definitely go!

It was published on May 15, 2011 and was found on the npr.com website. this article is pretty much about a carnival for adults. this idea was originated for Brooklyn, New york back in 2009. This article is intended for adults and or older teenagers. It is mainly informing people about these bazaar night markets that occur in Oakland. At these night markets, people gather up a bunch of box-trucks and have what they call a "an adult carnival." At these events, they can do anything for smashing cars to listening to a live band and drinking alcohol, if they keep it hidden. I think this article is very interesting and i think it would be cool if Santa Maria had one of those.
