the title of this weeks article is " congress gets in 12 hours of gridlockig before calling it a day." the day that this was wrote is may 4th 2011.the intended audience i think is people that care abot politics. the main idea of this article is to tell the public thsat congress spent a day with out breaks gridlocking. it states in the article that gridlocking can get pretty intense. it says that gridlocking is basically when congress deny everything. my thoughts on this article is that it was very confusing. i re-read the article 3 times and still wasnt sure if i got the right concept. i looked up the deffintion to see if that would help but it didnt.but if it is what i think it is then shouldnt congress not deny everything and not try to keep the united states in standstill.

"Congress Gets In 12 Solid Hours Of Gridlocking Before Calling It A Day" is a article posted on theonion.com by the people at The Onion. It is an article talking about how the congress has done nothing and have just been gridlocking instead of doing anything important. I nearly took the article seriously for a second, that was until I noticed the "The Onion Dating" ad in the side. I then thought the article was freakin' hilarious. The Onion never disappoints.

"Congress Gets In 12 Solid Hours Of Gridlocking Before Calling It A Day" is this weeks article by the Onion news source on May 4,2011. The author is unknown and the intended audience is anyone that follows politics. The purpose of this article is to tell the reader how hard congress is working. The main idea is to tell how much they are not doing. Just as House Speaker John Boehner said "There is nothing more satisfying than knowing you've just put in a full day of bringing our nation's legislative branch to a complete stand still." I thought this article was kinda interesting but I'm not that into politics yet.

The news broadcast “Congress Gets In 12 Solid Hours Of Gridlocking Before Calling It A Day,” on May 4, 2011, is about leaders from both side of the parties coming together to say that Congress finished 12 long hours of non-stop gridlocking. This is written for voters who are mad at Congress because they aren’t able to get anything done. The main idea is sarcasm toward the House and the Senate. They worked for 12 hours and got nothing done. Some people went right through their lunch breaks just so they could finish gridlocking. It seems like the quotes they gave could not be real. I wonder if they will get in trouble for these quotes that make fun of them getting nothing done.

This article is called "Congress Gets In 12 Solid Hours Of Gridlocking Before Calling It A Day (Legislators Proudly Call Gridlocking Session A 'Team Effort') ". It was published on theonion.com on May 4, 2011.This artice is about how much "work" Congress puts into Gridlocking, even though im not too sure what gridlocking is or how it works, it sounds pretty complex. This article was really written towards more political people than anyone else. I think the purpose was that even thought they dont always suceed, its still a big accomplishment. This entire article was all about gridlocking and how because of the amount of congress their never gonna all agree on one thing. Even though this article was kinda borning, i found it pretty interesting when theyr were saying how they go home and are proud at the fact that they didnt accomplish something, that what made me reread it a couple times to make sure i didnt skip anything. I still think i did though, because it suprised me to see how anyone could ever be so proud about not suceeding in something.

The titl of this weeks article is "Congress Gets In 12 Solid Hours Of Gridlocking Before Calling It A Day" and it doesn't say who wrote it. It was posted on May 4,2011 on the the ONION website. The intended audience is for adults because kids wouldn't be intereted in this kind of stuff. The purpose of this article is to tell the reader that congress made no new laws or compromises after 12 solid hours. I really don't know what to say because I'm not interested in polictics. I would say that it was kinda interesting reading the reponses of the politicians.

"Congress Gets In 12 Solid Hours Of Gridlocking Before Calling It A Day
Legislators Proudly Call Gridlocking Session A 'Team Effort'," was issued on May 4, 2011 from theonion.com. It was about how hard the Congress has worked on gridlocking. It got the point across, that our Congress works really hard when needed and that they were passing a lot of new laws. It was made mainly for the protestants, and the people that are concerned. I think that this article was really confusing and hard to understand.
