On the Left Side of your notebook, create a vocabulary page. You will add to this list throughout the unit.


Write each  vocabulary word and its definition.


Chapter 1:
Malevolent: Evil
Repertoire: The entire stock of skills a person has. 
Impotent: Without power or ability. Powerless.


Chapter 2:
Condescend: to agree to do something that you believe to be beneath your dignity.
Indigenous: belonging to a particular region or country; natives.


Finish reading Chapter 1 in To Kill a Mockingbird.
Write a 5-sentence summary of Chapter 1.
