Imagine yourself in 10 years. Describe. What does your life look like? Where do you live? Who do you live with? What do you do for a living? Are you married? Do you have children? Do you live in Santa Maria, have you moved away? where? why?

Today--Brainstorm. What is the world you come from? What part of your life can you describe in vivid detail that has had an impact on who you are?

What challenges and/or opportunities have you found in your community?
Are you an only child? large family?
Do you identify with one or more cultures?
Are you the first person in your family to attend college? 
What are your family expectations regarding college?
How does your family interact with each other?
How large is your high school?
Are you in any programs within the school? How have they impacted your progress through high school?
How are you challenging yourself in school to prepare for college?
Is attending college common for the graduating seniors in your class? in  your school?
