Tuesday, January 14, students will complete a practice CAHSEE essay to help prepare for the CAHSEE exam in March. I will use these essay to strategize writing instruction for the next 62 days.
Remember, graders are looking for:
1. Structure: a beginning, middle and end
2. Focus: it answers the question and stays on topic
3. Coherent: it is understandable and conveys your thinking clearly
