Friday, Reflection from What's Next

The past 6 weeks have been spent thinking about and hopefully taking some steps toward making your future one that will be fulfilling for you as an individual. In the 30 minute period today, I would like you to reflect upon the articles we have read, working on the Personal Statements and the Resume and respond to the prompt below:

Are you ready? Why or why not? What path do you intend to pursue as you end high school? What steps do you need to take in order for that path to be open? What makes this the right path for you to take? 

How have the past 3+ years in high school prepared you (or not) for whatever lies ahead? What have you learned about yourself in this time?

Is there anything you think that I, as the teacher, should add to this unit in the future to make it more beneficial to students?

You may get to all of the questions, or you may not. Please take your time and think about this. This will be part of your final reflection at the end of the year.
