If you are interested let me know! I have to nominate you.

We are pleased to invite all nominated students to participate in our 2014-2015 writing contest.  Our contests have become very popular, and the response has been gratifying for all.

Once again, we have decided to let the students choose the subject of their story.  The student will create a 500-word short story.  Students are instructed to provide descriptive settings, colorful characters, dialogue, conflict, and solutions.    Please visit our website for complete submission guidelines and monetary rewards http://www.usaa-academy.com/contests.html

Short stories must be received by May 15th.

In order to participate in the short story contest and the US. Achievement Academy programs, teachers must nominate their students.  You may nominate up to 50 students today by replying to this email or clicking this linkhttp://www.usaa-academy.com/nominations.html .  Base your decisions on any two of the following Standards for Selections:  3.0 minimum in your subject, motivation, attitude, dependability, responsibility, and leadership.  Please respond with your nominations by May 1st.  If you have already nominated, please announce the contest to your students.

Student benefits at no cost:

·       National recognition for nominated students
·       An opportunity to apply for an educational cash grant
·       An opportunity to participate in our writing competition for cash reward and publication

I look forward to receiving your nominations.  Thank you for your interest and participation.

Sincerely,

Robin Tomlinson, Director
